V and E come over. Order indian, have couple of bottles of wine .....

Girls gone wild

P and her friends are in town. You meet for dinner at Fig & Olive, downtown. Bottle of wine, dinner and desert, hours of chatting and catching up. P has a new job and has a good time in San Francisco. It is her first time in NYC. The girls have plans to go out after dinner. As midnight is about to strike, you flee, leaving you friends behind. They are still on the west coast time, you on the other hand need your beauty sleep.

Sunday is a brunch with B, Y, and M at Eleven Madison. Right after the meal you all go shopping. Barney's first stop :-)

In the evening you meet for couple of drinks with P.

Valentine's with the girls

Meet B at the usual location right after work. Quick change in the bathroom, hair down, red lipstick on, and you are ready to celebrate. First stop Kittichai for pre dinner drink while waiting for everybody to arrive. People watch for a while and chat with B about everything and nothing. Make yourself comfortable and sip your drink slowly, let it warm you up.

An hour later walk across the street to Lola for dinner. M is already there waiting at the bar. C is running late. M has a new date, C has a new job, both full of hopes and excitement.

Four....hours later hop in a cab and go home.

Champagne & caviar

Out with your brand new friend you met at the dance studio. Drink champagne, eat caviar, people watch and dance a bit.

Midnight, way pass your bed time. Getting up at 6am tomorrow.

Quite productive

You have lovely evening with B. Splurge on excellent dinner and talk for 3 hours.

Sat and Sun go fast. Errands, workout, French class, dance, shopping, endless hours on the phone...You reorganize the whole apartment, proud to put a tall bookshelf together all by yourself.

Sleep for 11 hours, you needed it. Every day next week is booked to its limits.

Too busy to breathe

You wake up at 12 on Saturday, 13 hours of sleep....darn what a waste of time. Feels great, though. Quick workout, mostly resting on a bench, shower, breakfast and you out to meet P. for your French lesson. Mispronouce more words then you should. Chat with P rather then learn. Promise yourself to do better next time.

Sunday morning, bright and early you meet V. for breakfast at Sabarsky Cafe. One of your favorites breakfast spots in the city. Never disapoints.

Another French lesson in the afternoon, this time with G.

Shop and stop by nail salon.

Super Bowl Sunday. Go Giants!

Loundry left untouched, apartment not cleaned, phone calls not returned, emails not answered.

Friday, finally

Shut down your coputer at the office. Friday. Time to play. Meet V for dinner, Midtown. She signed you up for expo this weekend and printed b cards, so you can get in. Now you have two jobs :-) why not, bring it on. She is a good soul.

You walk back home. All you can consider at the moment is sleep.
