Somewhat boring week. Work and no play. Worked out on Thursday 7.24 - such a rare event that qualifies to be labeled as an event in your life. Equinox loves such members.

Outdoor Salsa and French food

Healthy diet and no drinks last week, well almost the whole week. Cheated on Wednesday while enjoying girls night at Y watching Project Runway. Oh well, commitments are not easy to commit to....

On Sat you, B, and Y go to Lincoln Center for salsa class followed by dancing. Outdoors...hot as hell, give up after hour and ready for cold drinks. Walk over to La Boite en Bois for dinner, C joins.

Check couple of condos over a weekend and don't find anything interesting. Prices are impossible. Jasper is still a possibility.

Bastille Day

Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is called "Fête Nationale" ("National Holiday"), in official parlance, or more commonly "quatorze juillet" ("14 July"). It commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789; the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille was seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation, and of the reconciliation of all the French inside the constitutional monarchy which preceded the First Republic, during the French Revolution.

Had drinks with Val and more drinks later.

Miss my Dad, it's his birthday on July 14th.

Love you Dad.

Hot Summer Nights

Summer in full bloom, wish you could just escape the city and sit on the beach. Lack of planning skills. Week passes quickly. V takes you to Tavern for promotion event. Have couple of drinks, people watch, and go home early. Have after work drink with B, end up at Four Seasons lounge, since it is only couple of blocks from your place.

Not much else happens. Your company plays soccer game in Connecticut with one of the clients. You plan on going and last minute change your mind and mend your desk instead.

4th of July weekend

Didn't plan anything, no trips, no dinners. Reorganized the bedroom to accommodate ever growing clothes & shoes collection. Cleaned up the apartment, threw out papers and crap laying around. Bought new towels. All boring, all necessary.

Slept :-) :-) :-) Interrupted, luxurious, 10 hours a night

Happy 4th everybody!

Another week

Hunt for real estate continues. The latest one is Jasper www.jaspernewyork.com. Too expensive and too tempting.

Had a nice dinner with A, made it to Waverly Inn. The restaurant that does not have a phone number. Only in New York. Long night, long talks, finished with cup of jasmine tea at the Four Seasons Hotel, our after work hang out. A is moving to a new apartment, trying to sell her Rhode Island house, and make Manhattan home, at least for near while.

P joined you for French party at the Country. Long night, crowded, at least the place was nice. They served gourmet macaroni and cheese heavy on garlic..why would you do that when the purpose of the whole evening is to talk to people and get to know each other. Go figure.

Went shopping again. Chloe, Prada, Helmut Lang overload. Need therapy, really.

Tired of your apartment. Really tired.

New York or Chicago, what's the vote?
